Admins & roles
This tab manages who runs your organization. Open it with Settings → Admins in the sidebar; the tab strip on the page labels it Admin Users, and the board inside is headed Team members. Every admin sits in an Owners column (Full access including billing and organization settings.) or a Managers column (Can manage members, facilities, and check-ins.).
Admins are separate from members. Someone can be both — a board member who also holds a membership — but adding an admin doesn’t enroll them, and removing admin access doesn’t touch their membership.
Add an admin
Section titled “Add an admin”- Click Add admin. A drawer opens from the right.
- Choose Existing member and use Find a member to promote someone already in your organization — or Invite by email with a name and email to bring in someone new. When inviting by email, Also enroll as a member additionally creates a pending membership in your default tier so they appear in rosters and segments.
- Pick the Role — Manager – can manage members, facilities, check-ins or Owner – full access including billing and settings — and click Add admin.
The walkthrough with role guidance is in Build your team.
Change a role or remove access
Section titled “Change a role or remove access”- Drag an admin between the Owners and Managers columns. Or click Edit on their row — the same drawer reopens, titled Change role — pick the new Role, and click Update role.
- Click the trash button on a row, then confirm in the dialog that names the person with Remove admin. You can’t remove yourself, and anyone you remove can be re-added later.
Dragging your last owner into Managers is refused, with the toast Cannot demote the last owner. — promote a second owner first.
What each role can do
Section titled “What each role can do”Owners have everything, including this Settings area, payouts, integrations, and billing. Managers cover day-to-day operations — members, bookings, front desk, communications — without any of those. The complete matrix is in Roles & permissions.
