Calendar feeds

Requires the Facilities & Reservations module

Memberley publishes two kinds of ICS calendar feeds: a public per-facility feed anyone can subscribe to, and a private personal feed of your own bookings. Both are standard ICS URLs, so they work in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and anything else that subscribes to calendars.

Facility feed Personal feed
Who can subscribe Anyone with the URL Only you — the URL contains a private token
What’s inside Confirmed bookings on one facility, each shown as “Reserved” Your own approved reservations, titled by facility
Window Next 60 days Past week to about 4 months ahead
Managed from The Google Calendar integration (owner-only) The Calendar tab in your account settings

Per-facility feeds are managed on the Google Calendar integration page (owner-only):

  1. Click Integrations in the sidebar, then Google Calendar.
  2. Check Public feed next to each facility whose schedule you want to publish.
  3. Click Copy URL and share the link — post it on your website, or hand it to league coordinators.

Each facility’s feed arrives as its own calendar, named after your organization and the facility (for example “Lakeside Swim & Tennis — Main Pool”), with events in your organization’s timezone. It contains the facility’s confirmed reservations for the next 60 days, including recurring blocks. Member identity is redacted: every booking appears only as “Reserved” with its date and time, so the feed shows availability without exposing who booked. Pending requests aren’t included, and the feed refreshes within about five minutes of a change.

Your personal feed is a private calendar (named “Memberley — “ plus your name) carrying your own approved reservations, from the past week to about four months out, each titled with its facility. It’s scoped to the organization you last signed into — if you belong to several, the feed follows the one you used most recently.

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings, then the Calendar tab.
  2. Under Calendar feed:
    • Click Add to Google Calendar to open Google Calendar with the subscription pre-filled, or
    • Click Add to Apple Calendar to open the subscribe dialog on a Mac or iPhone, or
    • Click Copy and paste the URL wherever your calendar app subscribes to internet calendars — in Outlook, that’s Add calendar → Subscribe from web.

Members have the same Calendar tab in their own settings, so they can pull their bookings into their calendars too. Your account-level calendar options are covered in Notifications & calendar sync.

The personal feed URL contains a private token — anyone who has the URL can see your reservations. If it leaks, click Regenerate URL on the Calendar settings tab to mint a fresh one.

These feeds are pull-based: your calendar app polls the URL on its own schedule, so changes can take a while to show up (Google Calendar in particular refreshes subscribed calendars infrequently). The Google Calendar integration page is also where facility publishing lives — start there when you want facility schedules in a shared club calendar.
